I’m kinda upset tonight, so I’m heading off. You already know who this is. This man is my hero, my inspiration, my strength when I have none. I won’t ever forget when I told him that I said I was “Pure desperation, I’ve been waiting to meet you all night long.” and he just looked at me, smiled, and was so kind and said “Well, you’re meeting me now, right?” Danny…. I know you’re not the only member in AA. But thank you. Your voice is what gets me up every day. I literally wake up to AA. You make me laugh so much that I cry, your interviews are the best. You were so nice to me when I met you, and I just thought you’d shoo me away.. you didn’t. You’re a strong person. I can just tell. I don’t know you personally… but still. It was lovely meeting this man. Call him an asshole all you want. Bring on the hate for this man being my hero. I don’t fucking care. I’ll defend him.. even though he doesn’t need a 16 year old to do it. He can admit his past, and still show up everyone who tries to prove him and his band wrong. He writes amazing lyrics, and preforms like a rock god. He’s just awesome, and he’s bringing rock and roll back. Thank you so, so much for doing what you do. You’re one of my biggest role models of all time.
